Last updated: October 20, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Carey & Walsh, Inc. ("Carey & Walsh", "we", "us") collects and uses information when you visit careyandwalsh.com, call us, or ask us for service.

Information you give us

When you fill out a form on our site or call us, you may give us your name, phone number, email address, service address and details about the job you need done. We use this to answer you, schedule and perform service, send estimates and invoices, and follow up on the work.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, ours uses cookies and similar tools that record how visitors use the site: pages viewed, the site that sent you here, your browser and device type, and an approximate location based on your IP address. We use:

  • Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and similar analytics tools, to understand how the site is used.
  • Google advertising tags and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, which send visit data to Google and Meta and can be used to measure ads and to show ads to people who visited the site.
  • Jetpack (WordPress.com) and Gauges site statistics, to count visits.
  • SearchLight, a marketing reporting service, which records the pages you visit and can be used to measure which ads and searches lead to calls and customers.
  • Google reCAPTCHA on our forms, to block spam.
  • Call tracking (CallRail). Some phone numbers on this site are tracking numbers. When you call one, the call service records the number you called from, the time and length of the call and the page you came from, and calls may be recorded for quality and training.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

  • Service providers that help us run the business and this website (hosting, forms, analytics, advertising, call tracking, scheduling, payments). Google, Meta and the other tools listed above handle visit data under their own privacy policies.
  • Authorities, when the law requires it or to protect our rights and safety.
  • A buyer or successor, if the business is sold or merged.

Text messages

If you give us your mobile number, we may text you about your appointment or service request. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop receiving texts. We do not share your mobile number or text-message consent with anyone for their own marketing.

Your choices

  • You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Google offers an opt-out at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
  • You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by calling us at 914-762-9600 or writing to the address below. We will answer within a reasonable time.

How long we keep it and how we protect it

We keep customer information for as long as we need it to serve you and to meet our legal, tax and warranty obligations. We use reasonable safeguards to protect it, but no website or system is completely secure.

Children

This site is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Other websites

Our site links to other sites (social media, review sites, articles). Their privacy practices are their own.
